Normally 15 inches monitor will be nicer when playin online games and surf website as well while the 17 inches monitor will " perfect" playin first person shooter games and easy to watch movie through the 17 inches monitor !

joel u quite funny.... haha...

anyway monitor the bigger the better for those who use a lot.. esp gaming and designing... normal usage nonid so big one.

but be careful of radiations. eyes can get tired easily if its bigger.. my power went up when i started working almost 8hrs a day in front of an 17" LCD monitor.

the bigger the better of coz, but i think 17 for now its enuff, maybe you can get even bigger like 19"..awesome..but get those lcd screen lar..
