Yup people, this is the difficult beatitude:

"Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil things falsely against you for My name's sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so did they persecute the Prophets who were before you."
Matt 5: 11-12

Rejoice in suffering, God is smiling on you, and there is honour for you in Heaven. Picture that in your head, really picture that, and if that doesn't make you smile, I don't know what will.
