Psalms 121
Psalms 121
(1)I look to the mountains;
Where will my help come from?
(2)My help will come from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth.
(3)He will not let you fall;
your protector is always awake
(4)The protector of Isreal
Never dozes or sleeps
(5)The Lord will guard you.
(6)The sun will not hurt you during the day
nor the moon during the night.
(7)The Lord will protect you from all danger;
He will keep you safe
( He will protect you as you come and go now and forever
There was a point in time I was really afraid of something that was about to happen.. I'm pretty sure it was the night before SPM's History paper.. And I called up a friend. He told me to look up this verse. That conversation was brief. But I thank God for it.. Else it would have taken me forever to find it.
It just makes me feel really secure when I'm scared, And I dunno how, but it also makes me happy when I'm sad..
Anyway.. Just to spread the 'joy?' around..

Re: Psalms 121
I'd recommend a New International Version or a Good News Bible. I like Good News because it has this really cool faceless illustrations haha.
But yeah, there are numerous study bibles, like the Life Application Bible and Youth Study Bibles that you can look up in places like Salvation bookstore.
The important thing to remember is that you need a version that you can understand. It's probably not a good idea to start with the King James, unless you are really confident about your english.
The important thing is, whatever version you read, you need to read it prayerfully, and ask God to reveal what he is saying to you.
Cheers
